Smart Security Cameras Make Your Home a More Secure Space

In recent years, surveillance cameras have become an integral part of security systems for residential spaces. No longer will a simple alarm system suffice. Surveillance cameras allow you to get an indoor and outdoor view of your home at any given moment. Read on to learn why adding a surveillance camera system to your home in Laguna Beach or Orange County, CA, is a wise decision.

Prevent Crimes

If you want a safe and secure home, then outdoor surveillance cameras are a must. When the camera's presence is more apparent, it deters thieves and vandals from breaking into your home. Even if someone attempts to trespass on your property, they will automatically step back when they spot home security cameras. Moreover, smart cameras recognize threats and sound the alarm if they detect a problem – sending alerts to your mobile device or smart home system.

Valuable Evidence

Sometimes, it happens – someone attempts to break into your home. Fortunately, smart surveillance cameras will record the entire incident in high definition. The latest technology ensures better quality videos so that you can easily identify the culprits. You can use the surveillance footage as evidence to help the police catch the identified criminals.

Peace of Mind

A security system makes your smart home safer and gives you peace of mind, knowing that your family is in a secure space. If you’d like, you can remotely view what's happening at home by viewing live and recorded camera footage on your smartphone. Do you see suspicious activity? Trigger the alarm system remotely to alert anyone at home and call for help right away.

Safety Precautions Taken by Launch Systems in Response to COVID-19

The team at Launch Systems is keeping an eye on all the latest news about the COVID-19 outbreak in the United States and around the world, and we are taking all necessary precautions to keep our employees, clients and community safe during this time. Health precautions and protocols in line with WHO and CDC directives are taking place throughout our organization to reduce the spread of disease. Every day our team reviews up-to-date recommendations to ensure we’re doing everything to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Though these may change over time, here are the current steps we are taking to reduce the risks associated with this novel coronavirus:

● Every technician is equipped with hand-sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol to clean their hands. It is also readily available at our showrooms, offices and work sites to be used by all of our employees. In addition, all employees must wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

● Employees who have symptoms of acute respiratory illness are recommended to stay home and not come to work until they are free of fever (100.4° F [37.8° C] or greater using an oral thermometer), signs of a fever, and any other symptoms for at least 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing or other symptom-altering medicines (e.g. cough suppressants).
